Source
The N-Cadherin sequence of this part was isolated from a murine source; the viral 2A self-cleaving peptide was isolated from a virus with homology to the foot-and-mouth disease virus; the EYFP fluorescent reporter is an engineered version of the original green fluorescent protein from Aequorea victoria. Sincere thanks go to the Weiss lab for contributing this entry vector to the MIT iGEM 2011 team.
